A Little Known Fable About a Big Known Guy

By Gary Applegary | June 1, 2011 |

No doubt, most of us have heard of Paul Bunyan. Yes, the giant feller who lumbered through the forests removing natural resources at a pace not even machinery could keep up with. Chopping down trees right and left with his big blue ax he named Babe. Dressing in plaid flannel even before the 1990’s. A big guy like PB could easily be a menace, as the following cautionary tale illustrates:

THE TOWN DECIDED THAT PAUL BUNYAN

MUST ORDER BURGERS WITHOUT ONION,

AFTER FORTY LUMBERJACKS MET THEIR DEATH

INHALING BUNYAN’S ONION BREATH.

THE END.

Let this story be a warning to you; steer clear of PB after dinner for sure!

P.S. We can all be thankful I never really followed up on this rudimentary sketch of Paul Bunyan, the original “Bra-knee lumberjack.” Grrrrrroannnnn.
