Now, I’m not saying you’re a loser. You’re not! It’s just that, well, you’re not a winner… not this time, at least.
So, that’s what I had to tell the folks who tried to get the closest to the correct Super Bowl score a while back. Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone could break the bad news to you as gently? At least I think this came off sounding somewhat nice. Of course, I didn’t receive this letter myself. I did have to send it to my Grandma, however. See what you think, and let me know…
The You Are Not a Winner Form Letter
I sort of enjoy that it doesn’t let the recipient of the letter know exactly what they didn’t win. Because that would be rubbing it in.
